I left Stationers’ Company’s Grammar School in North London in 1972 and after working as a Non Marine Insurance Broker in Lloyds of London, ‘found’ my way into the sign industry in 1987.

Started off with Modulex UK and their aluminium sign systems products, then a couple of ‘typical’ UK sign companies covering different types of signage for the whole spectrum of customer types (one man band to full corporate organisations). In 2000, joined Spandex UK and for nearly 10 years I was the Business Manager for the Sign System product range engaging with sign companies and suppliers from all over the world as well as running a successful and profitable sales team. Joined the BSGA as Director in July 2010. Married with 2 grown up boys. Live in South Muskham in Nottinghamshire UK and am on the local Parish Council (Chairman for 5 years). Likes: Family, home, travel, building projects and doing a job well.
