General Assembly 2010 in Munich

The Annual General Assembly of the European Sign Federation (ESF) was held, following the Board Meeting, in Munich on 25th June 2010. Delegates attended from virtually all European Countries, there were also delegates from the United States of America, Australia and Brazil.
The above photograph shows the retiring President, Mr Jean-Pierre Rousseau, SYNAFEL, France after handing over Office to the new ESF President, Mr. Luc Steegmans, Belgium Sign Organisation. Also shown are Mr. Roger Perrson, Ljusreklamforbundet, Sweden who was elected as 1st Vice-President and Mr. Luis Martinez, ASERLUZ, Spain, elected to the Office of 2nd Vice President.
In his post election address Mr. Steegmans confirmed the Federation will strive to expand both in Europe and Internationally and would be at the forefront of examining ways of bringing better services to members and engaging with potential members of the Federation. The General Assembly also honoured the memory of Mr. Rolf Hoppe who, until his untimely death earlier this year, had been Treasurer of both the EVL and ESF for many years.
